Hi, I’m R.J. Cross.

I wear many hats. One of them is writer.

Another hat is researcher & advocate. I’ve done that for 10 years, currently at the Public Interest Research Group (PIRG). I work on tech issues. My research has appeared in most major media outlets, especially the thing about the ChatGPT-powered teddy bear that we found would talk about sex. I was on The Today Show for that. I have mixed feelings about BDSM Bear being the biggest thing in my career, but sometimes the work chooses you.

I’m also the editor-in-chief of Enough, a new magazine dedicated to anticonsumption.
